Construction has started on a new £6 million weapons museum designed by architect Austin-Smith: Lord. The plans for the Royal Artillery Museum at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich centre on the transformation of four Grade II-listed buildings and will open next summer. Historic building specialist Julian Harrap Architects is working on another part of the museum and is overseeing the refurbishment of the Royal Military Academy.
