Giles Worsley, late of Perspectives magazine and now on the Telegraph, could have been the only possible nominee for architectural journalist of the year: wife Joanna gave birth to their new child just before reaching Paddington General hospital. Giles delivered it in the street. Talk about trendy. Alas, Mrs Worsley works for The Times, which scooped his own newspaper with the story. No prizes.
