The building will be the only library owned by the Cambridgeshire County Council to be passively ventilated.Work started on site in April 1998 and the project is due for completion in May. John Setchell is the civil and structural engineer, Jenks Associates is the mechanical and electrical engineer, Tillyard is the quantity surveyor, John Mowlem is the contractor and Jeremy Lever is the landscape consultant.
