How nice to see a rising design talent getting recognition in a national newspaper. So congratulations to Tara Bernerd, daughter of South Bank supremo Elliott Bernerd, who was praised in the Sunday Times as 'a cement- loving, big-space kind of girl'. Her former flat is cited as evidence of the way she designs and oversees the transformation of original spaces, and we learn how she positioned 'walls of roughly hewn concrete within large open spaces to bring cinematic views'. Great stuff, but odd to see no mention of architect Patel Taylor, credited as having designed the space in this month's Architectural Review.
