It was surprising that so little has been reported nationally about the highly significant decision taken by riba Council two weeks ago: that sustainability issues should be put firmly on the curriculum of schools of architecture. President Marco Goldschmied has made sustainability a key theme of his presidency, and the council is obviously taking it seriously.
