ARB annual report: an awful lot of a waste

I have just received my copy of arb's 1998-1999 annual report.

Cartlidge Levene's handsome yellow affair seems to use an awful lot of paper to contain such a small amount of information. And so clearly laid out too.

But what is it? Staff expenditure for 1998 is given as £568, 891. For the 15 staff members listed, this works out at very nearly £38, 000 apiece.

Even if the registrar and assistant accounted for £100,000 of the total, say, the remainder would still average £36,000 each.

Can I have a job at Hallam Street please? (Oops! Sorry, Weymouth Street)
