The Architects’ Journal is the UK’s best-selling weekly architecture magazine and is the voice of architecture in Britain.
The AJ Buildings Library is a digital product that provides technical data, drawings and photographs of exemplar projects in British architecture. The Library will launch this autumn as a paid-for, stand-alone website. See info.ajbuildingslibrary.co.uk for more information.
Reporting to the Editor, the successful candidate will solicit and curate information about completed buildings for the AJ Buildings Library, maintain close ties with architecture practices, and be responsible for the strategic development of this digital service. The AJ Buildings Library Editor will also work closely with the AJ team to identify and source projects for publication in the magazine.
A background in architecture and good technical knowledge would be a great advantage for this permanent, full-time position; experience as a practising architect would be ideal. The successful candidate will also be highly computer literate, work well within the existing AJ team, and comfortable liaising with the biggest names in architecture.
