Would any AJ readers like to participate in Open Urban Picnic?
Launched during London's Design Week as a counterbalance to the predominantly commercial exhibitions, Open Urban Picnic is a collection of installations which respond to the erosion of public space in the city. In July 2000 the collection of work will be on show at Berlin's Deutsche Architectur Zentrum (DAZ), a lively counterpart to Britain's RIBA.We're inviting architects to get involved in the next stage of this project by designing a picnicbox-sized piece of work commenting on the right to picnic in the city.
Interested parties should contact Urban Strategies on 0171 737 4290 or Artery on 0171 346 8825.
