Allies & Morrison has been picked to masterplan the University of Cambridge's Sidgwick site, which includes the History Faculty designed by James Stirling, the Law Library by Foster and Partners and the School of Divinity by Edward Cullinan Architects. The project is to complete the masterplan for the site, preparing the ground for new faculties for english, criminology and a centre for east Asian studies. Designs for these buildings will be prepared by Allies & Morrison and submitted for planning in early 2001.
