A traditional cast-iron rainwater system from Alumasc has provided the ideal solution for the refurbishment of a listed student hall of residence on Aberystwyth's sea front. The front facade had to be rebuilt to replicate the original following a serious fire in 1998 and architect James Jenkins specified Alumasc's Heritage and Apex ranges because of their traditional looks, costeffectiveness and resistance to salt air. Both ranges combine the traditional values of cast iron with modern quality control and finishing techniques. Apex also offers bespoke components.
