Architectural ironmongery - ASSA

ASSA has redesigned the shaft and spindle construction of its popular Select door handles to prevent the drooping and excessive play that are common to lever operation. ASSA has devised a 'splitting spindle' with a groove and a pointed stainless-steel grubscrew, which, when tightened, makes the spindle expand, locking it into place and binding the handle and spindle into a single and solid unit.
