  • Comment

43 employed architects, 16% female architects, =44th position in 2014

Pick Everard senior partner David Brunton retired in 2014 after more than 20 years at the East Midlands-headquartered firm, which spurred on a major management shake-up with Duncan Green taking over Brunton’s role and Joanna Griffin-Shaw promoted to senior partner. It also made a further 13 new appointments at partner, director and associate level. In the past year the firm has ploughed more than £500,000 into new systems and business infrastructure, with turnover growing by £2.2 million. ‘We are strengthening our BIM capability and providing a more agile, engaging working environment,’ says Griffin-Shaw. Work in the retail sector picked up with a new £10 million store for Next completed in Hedge End, near Southampton, while it also saw huge growth in the blue-light and office sectors.
