More from: 3DReid posts loss after overseas rethink
After a difficult 2013, which saw the company slash its number of architects by a quarter, 3DReid has stabilised things, working with key clients such as British Land; Starwood Capital; Heathrow Airport, Sime Darby and Intu Shopping Centres. ‘Due to the prevalence of design and build, much of our fee is earned through novation to main contractors on projects for many of these and other clients,’ says divisional director Graham Hickson-Smith. ‘We are also seeing an increase in the scale and ambition of commissions signalling the growth in investor and developer confidence, so we expect some more landmark projects to come to the fore this year.’ With turnover stabilised at £9.2 million, the firm is looking to recruit to exploit the growing market.
