  • Comment

51 employed architects, 33% female architects, =39th position in 2014

Chapman Taylor has held its position despite witnessing steady growth in overall turnover during the past 12 months following a surge in overseas work. In Europe, the retail, leisure and masterplanning specialist landed new projects including a 50,000m2 retail district in Montélimar, France and a five-storey fashion store in Wuppertal, Germany. New large-scale commissions were also won in Tallinn, Moscow, Istanbul, Baku and China, where the 56-year-old firm recently completed Shanghai’s new Global Harbour shopping centre. In the UK, new projects coming on stream include an expansion of MediaCityUK in Manchester, an overhaul of Gatwick’s North Terminal International Departure Lounge and Oxford’s £250 million Westgate shopping centre regeneration.
