AJ120 #27: ADP

  • Comment

66 employed architects, 41% female architects, =18th position in 2014

The past year has seen this practice go through a major restructure, promoting 20 people into new and more senior roles, and it has plans for a new Edinburgh studio. ‘These changes will enable the practice to generate new business, provide a better service, and improve technical delivery,’ says chairman Roger FitzGerald. The new roles also recognise ADP’s focus on BIM, after the firm set up Corde, a collaborative BIM service. It may have dropped nine places since last year’s ranking, but turnover has increased and the firm continues its stronghold on the higher education market. The game-changer for ADP was beating firms from Europe, America and Canada to win a high-profile contest to expand the University of Cyprus in Nicosia.
