AJ120 #21: TP Bennett

  • Comment

77 employed architects, 22% female architects, =22nd position in 2014

The London-based practice completed one of the highest-profile schemes in London in 2014 with its comprehensive reinvention of Sea Containers House on London’s South Bank. The landmark project marks a solid year for TP Bennett, which saw turnover and profit both increase, keeping the practice in the top 25 of the AJ120. Looking to capitalise on growth elsewhere in the UK, the practice also opened an office in Manchester. TP Bennett pinpoints staff retention and attraction during a time of zero inflation as one of the key challenges to growth it faces over the coming year. ‘Despite domestic and global uncertainties we see the opportunity for growth by maintaining our sectorial diversity,’ says TP Bennett principal director Chris Bennie.
