AJ120 #=18: Wilkinson Eyre Architects

  • Comment

80 employed architects, 29% female architects, 32nd position in 2014

Named as the AJ120 Fastest Growing Practice, Wilkinson Eyre has rocketed up from 32nd place last year to 18th. The double Stirling Prize-winner, which operates in sectors such as culture, education, residential, commercial, bridges and infrastructure, has a well-established reputation in Asia and Australia but is also cementing its reputation in the UK with high-profile projects such as the second phase of the Battersea Power Station redevelopment for Malyasian client SP Setia and the Mount Pleasant residential scheme, alongside three other architects, for Royal Mail Group. The latter brought with it a great deal of controversy in 2014 but Wilkinson Eyre remained relatively unscathed and won plaudits for schemes such as its Maggie’s Centre in Oxford.
