AJ120 #17: Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios

  • Comment

82 employed architects, 26% female architects, 14th position in 2014

Although slipping three places down the AJ120 table, Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios continued its streak of prestigious wins in 2014 with the Darwin Building at the University of Edinburgh, the Birmingham Conservatoire, the redevelopment of Alexandra Palace and Bristol Arena. Higher education projects continue to be a major focus, along with an increasing number of mixed-use housing-based projects and ongoing international work in Canada, Bangladesh and China. Opening a Manchester office to complement its Bath and London presence, the practice seeks to expand on its successful work at Manchester Metropolitan University. After a series of delays, the firm’s scaled-back plans for London’s Southbank Centre are due to start on site later this year.
