The Wakefield-based firm, which also has offices in Manchester, Milton Keynes and Reading, recently won a RIBA Yorkshire award for its Blackburn Wing Treehouse at Bowcliffe Hall. In the main its work is commercially driven and clients include B&Q, British Land, Royal London, Land Securities and Aldi. Recently completed projects include the second phase of an ongoing refurb at Sheffield’s Meadowhall as well as a high tech office and distribution centre in Gillingham for dental/medical outfit Henry Schein. Operationally, chairman Paul Mitchell is pleased with the investment that the firm has made in IT, with Revit now successfully integrated across the company. He adds that in the year ahead the firm is looking to expand into London after a number of recent wins in the capital.
