More from: AJ100 Practice of the year - 2013
In a tightly-fought category, AHMM emerged as the winner with a 55 per cent growth in total fee earnings last year, up from £10.5 million to £16.3 million. It underpinned that growth with healthy fees of more than £180,000 per UK architect.
Major projects in the pipeline include the redevelopment of the BBC’s Wood Lane studios at Television Centre and Google’s London HQ in King’s Cross. A new iteration of its ‘White Collar Factory’ is planned for East London. Its North London Hospice, completed in May 2012 and shortlisted in the Building of the Year category, is, according to AJ editor Christine Murray, ‘distinctive and dignified.’
Ian Simpson Architects was highly commended in this category.
