Put your project in the running for AJ Small Projects Sustainability Award. Submit your best green designs now

Tight budgets are no barrier to creative thinking, and AJ Small Projects is your annual chance to show the world what you can design and deliver on a contract budget of £250,000 or less. Don’t forget the AJ Small Projects Sustainability Award: now in its fourth year: the emphasis is on great design underpinned, but not undermined, by green thinking.

All shortlisted entries will feature in two special January issues of the AJ and at a popular exhibition at the NLA, and shortlisted candidates will be invited to present their work in front of a jury that includes a prominent architect and a client. All entries will also be published in the AJ Buildings Library – valuable publicity for your practice.

‘We look forward to seeing this year’s entrants,’ said Paul Reed, sales and marketing director at Marley Eternit. ‘Marley Eternit are proud to support the AJ Small Project Awards for the third year. These awards allow practices to demonstrate their creativity and be rewarded for their originality.

To enter the competition, your project should have a total contract value of less than £250,000 and have been completed between 1 January 2011 and 1 November 2012. You will need to submit a 150-word text describing your project, along with at least eight photographs, five drawings and one working detail. There is a £50 entry fee.

The entry deadline is 26 November. Visit TheAJ.co.uk/SmallProjects for more details and email Tom Ravenscroft at ajsmallprojects@emap.com with any questions
