Following the outrage which rightly ensued following the publication the images of a Lara Croft lookalike and her boyfriend 'interfacing' via the web, I simply cannot believe you would publish an equally erotic image of her playing bat and ball on your front cover (AJ 21.6.01).
Architecture is a very serious game and when I invest in a publication I want to learn about structure, skin and form, not filth. Please have some respect - as architects we don't get out very much and need to be treated sensitively. After all, you don't get any crude behaviour on site, so why should we have it on our office shelves, so to speak?
Do you realise you can see up her skirt - and she's not even wearing tights? What if she were up a ladder? And, to top it all, her grip was most unorthodox.
Yours, extremely worked up.
