Allford Hall Monaghan Morris has been named as the architect clients would most like to work with
More than 300 clients were asked to nominate the AJ120 practices they would like to work with again - and the ones they would most like to work with in the future.
Allford Hall Monaghan Morris took the top spot in a tightly fought category that saw Allies and Morrison and Stanton Williams sharing second place in the client vote.
It’s been a strong year financially for the practice, with total architectural fee income up 10 per cent to £27.5 million.
Standout completed schemes in 2014 include 240 Blackfriars Road for Great Portland Estates and phase one of the University of Amsterdam, which won the AJ Retrofit of the Year Award.
Key projects 61 Oxford Street, for Dukelease Properties and BA Pensions Trust, Westminster Bridge Road for Urbanest and New Burlington Place for The Crown Estate are nearing completion.
The stalled Google headquarters in King’s Cross is ‘the sole blot on an enviable copybook’, as our AJ publications editor James McLachlan writes in AHMM’s profile. The practice’s stellar reputation continues.
