African clinic designs to go on show at the RIBA

The winners in a competition to design a mobile HIV/Aids clinic for Africa are coming to the UK for an exhibition at the RIBA later this year.

The four winners of the Architecture for Humanity initiative included KHRAS from Denmark, Gaston Tolila and Nicholas Gilliland from France and teams from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, US, and the University of Dortmund.This design by ARC Architects from Bern, Switzerland - one of eight other schemes to receive honourable mentions - will also be on display.

More than 530 teams from 51 countries entered the competition.
