Addled idea of Adler's helpful philosophy

  • Comment

While it was surprising and refreshing that someone knew who Alfred Adler was, it was also disheartening to see that Martin Pawley did not seem to have grasped the ideas very well (aj 18.11.99). I say this not as a scholar or an academic but as an architect who uses Adlerian philosophy for my particular area of expertise, and as a father of three children at a time when, even for highly educated individuals, the concept of parenthood is being continually eroded and lost (Adler and his students, Dreikurs and Sonstegard, were prime movers in assisting parents to co-operate with their children).
