As the new National Space and Science Centre in Leicester nears completion the giant rockets that form the centrepiece of the Tower display are already in place and awaiting the first visitors. Addison Design Systems designed, manufactured and installed the main entrance which is glazed with 17.4mm toughened laminated glass retained by specially designed cast stainless steel 'spider' brackets. The tower glazing, which is inclined at 18 degrees, is manufactured from a specially adapted patent glazing bar and incorporates automatic glass louvres linked to the BMS.
