Addison Design Systems designed, manufactured and installed the unique trapezoidal-shaped windows and elliptical patent-glazed roof lights to the 'pod'-shaped reading rooms and the main public library in Peckham, south London. Each double-glazed unit weighed more than 600kg and was installed by specialist lifting equipment designed and supplied by Addison Design Systems. The building won the prestigious 'Building of the Year Award 2000'.
