Addison Design Systems rose to the challenge to design, manufacture and install the inclined glazing and entrances for Nicholas Grimshaw's 'hi-tech vision' at the National Space Centre in Leicester. The inclined glazing at the base of the tower, which encloses the mighty Thor Abel rocket, is constructed from the RA 2000 glazing system and incorporates 17.5mm toughened, laminated glass and motorised glass louvres linked to the building management system.
