Up-and-coming practice AAVA Architects has submitted plans for two 310m2 homes on the site of a 1950s house in the Blackheath Conservation Area, south-east London
The £2 million ‘Green Roof Cottage’ scheme will be clad in handmade, white Roman brick and will feature oak lattice shutters. A planning decision is expected next month.
The practice had previously drawn up plans for a pair of three-storey homes on the Heathway plot however, despite officer approval, the proposal was turned down by the planning committee.
