Waterford Courthouse refurbishment, Ireland

  • Comment

[Expressions of interest must be received by 14 October] Ireland’s Office of Public Works is seeking architectural services for the refurbishment of the 1849 Waterford Courthouse in Waterford, Munster

The project aims to ensure the continued use of the historic courthouse building by Ireland’s Courts Service through the ‘consolidation and enhancement’ of the existing fabric and the extension of the building where required.

Planned improvements include the the provision of new ‘universally accessible’ courtrooms and adequate support facilities for all court user groups such as the courts service staff, judiciary, jurors, legal practitioners, prison service staff, An Garda Síochána (the Irish Police) and members of the public.
