  • Comment

The London Borough of Sutton is on the lookout for an architect to masterplan its town centre

The winner of the £120,000 contract will have nine months to draw up a masterplan for the historic Surrey settlement which is located around 16 kilometres from the centre of London.

Featuring around 400,000m² of retail, office and civic floor space – Sutton is recognised as the eighth largest town centre in the capital.

The town’s pedestrianised high street (pictured) was used as the setting for the Channel 4 sitcom PhoneShop.

The deadline for requests to participate is 12noon on 31 July.
