Skopje has launched a design competition for a new family-friendly amusement park
Planned for a site in the centre of the Republic of Macedonia’s capital, the new visitor attraction will feature leisure activities, catering areas, retail, hospitality facilities and administrative offices.
The winner will receive around £2,300 and the design contract. A second place prize of £1,150 and third place prize worth around £900 are also available.
Protests erupted in Skopje earlier this month against the country’s prime minister Nikola Gruevski and his government.
The deadline for requests to participate is 12noon on 9 June.
