[Requests to participate must be received by 5 September] The City of Cambridge Education Foundation has launched a search for architects to design a new £17 million secondary school in Trumpington, South Cambridge

Architects are wanted to manage the design of the school as well as further brief development - if necessary. Currently due to provide 750 places, the school’s brief includes proposals for additional science facilities and teaching spaces.

Andrew Hutchinson, the executive principal at the Parkside Federation Academies said the project would ‘ensure the school’s design is led by and supports our unique and successful education ethos’.

The contract is due to begin 14 January 2012 and conclude 1 October 2016, with contracted design services completing RIBA stage E.
