The National Maritime Museum in Greenwich is on the lookout for an architect for the £2 million upgrade of its West Central Wing building
The winning architect-led, multi-disciplinary design team will refurbish the Daniel Asher Alexander-designed 1807 structure and create new galleries.
A bridge connecting the West Central Wing to the museum’s central Neptune Court podium – refurbished by BDP and Rick Mather Architects in 1999 – will also be created.
An exhibition designer will be appointed separately. The deadline for requests to participate is 20 January.
