  • Comment

Chesterfield Borough Council is on the hunt for an architect to review its town centre masterplan

The winning team will review and update the Derbyshire market town’s existing development vision which was completed by URBED in 2009.

The chosen consultant will also be expected to evaluate progress on delivering the previous masterplan and identify any new challenges which have emerged.

URBED’s masterplan focussed on commercial and residential growth in the historic town which was once a Roman fort. An earlier masterplan was prerpared by Scott Wilson ten years ago.

The deadline for requests to participate is 6 October.
