Kilkenny County Council is on the hunt for a design team for a new fire station in Graiguenamanagh
The winning team will draw up plans for a new two-bay fire station
and training yard on the market town’s main relief road.
The facility will replace an existing 1950s fire station nearby which is no longer fit for purpose.
Quantity surveying and project supervision services will also be required alongside structural, civil and building services engineering.
Ireland’s government announced £800,000 of funding towards the new building in June.
The deadline for requests to participate is 12noon on 28 October.
