The 2014 John Ruskin Prize has been launched with the theme ‘Recording Britain Now’
Organised by the Guild of St George and the charity Campaign for Drawing, drawings, paintings, textiles and digital art are called for which present ‘fresh contemporary visions of their urban environment’.
Submission must be received by 7 April, with the shortlist announced at the end of April. The winner will receive £1,000 and all the shortlisted entries will be displayed at an exhibition at the Pringle Richards Sharratt-designed Millenium Galleries in Sheffield.
The competition has an entry fee of £10 and the application form can be downloaded from the contest page.
