French architect Michel Rémon has pipped Jestico + Whiles in the contest for a new £16 million Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Centre at Tel Aviv University

Jestico + Whiles was the only UK firm in the final round of the contest up against Paris-based Atelier d’Architecture Michel Rémon and local firm Zarhy Architects with Studio Pez.

Key buildings on the campus include Mario Botta’s Cymbalista Synagogue and Jewish Heritage Centre and the Porter School of Environmental Studies by Geotectura, Axelrod-Grobman Architects and Chen Architects.
