  • Comment

A Hungarian asset manager is on the hunt for an architect for a new conference centre in Budapest

The winning team will design a new 5,000-capacity arena within the Hungarian capital’s historic ninth district.

The main conference hall will feature both fixed and mobile seating to cater for different types of events.

Two additional halls able to host 1,500 each are also planned along with a number of smaller rooms.

The new building – which is expected to meet either LEED or BREEAM standards – will furthermore include a 450-space car park and an 8,000m² exhibition area.

The deadline for applications is 12 December.
