Gatwick Airport, Framework Agreement

  • Comment

Architects sought to be part of three-year framework as part of Gatwick Airport capital improvement programme

Architect-led multi disciplinary design services with all other design services procured from supplier’s in house resource, or subcontract agreements.

The designs will normally (but not always) be developed to allow for either a design-build tender or design-bid-build tender and will contribute to the successful delivery of major and minor capital projects over a three-year period (unless extended) as part of the Owner’s capital improvement programme (CIP). It is anticipated that approximately 50 projects of various sizes and scope will be developed within the CIP and that between three and six agreements will be awarded to deliver these services.

The design services required will be Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Retail Planning & Design, Fire Engineering, Baggage Handling Systems and occasionally other disciplines and specialist e.g. Lighting, Land Survey, etc. as may be required for the successful delivery of projects. There is also a separate but similar OJEU notice and process for the tender of a civil engineering led multi-disciplinary framework agreement to be entered into by Gatwick Airport Limited. Qualified organisations may seek selection for tender under either or both these OJEU notices.
