[Registration must be completed by 31 July] The Regional Council of Picardie and the Free State of Thuringia have jointly launched an international competition to develop the use of renewable and ecological materials
Open to architecture students and professionals, the two-phase contest seeks projects are which apply renewable and ecological materials in new ways.
Entries accepted to the contest’s second stage will be invited to an awards ceremony in November where a £24,000 prize fund will be awarded along with a further £40,000 to prototype projects.
Entries may focus on any building or structure type and may look at whole building designs or select a component to detail.
Registration must be completed by 31 July
Phase one submissions should be received 31 July
Phase two submissions will be received until 24 September
