East Lothian Council is on the lookout for an architect to regenerate Haddington town centre
The winning team will draw up plans for new public realm and other improvements in the heart of East Lothian’s main administrative town, which is around 32km east of Edinburgh.
According to the contract notice: ‘The council is seeking to appoint a team to provide new urban realm design and associated studies and strategies for Haddington Town Centre which will deliver specified outcomes.
The appointed consultant will work with the council, the Haddington Community Development Trust, local communities, and businesses to develop a new urban realm design that is in line with relevant policies and guidance.’
Bidders must have at least £10 million of employer’s liability insurance cover, £5 million of public liability insurance and £2 million worth of professional indemnity insurance.
The deadline for applications is noon, 23 December.
