Ireland’s Clare County Council has launched the search for an architect-led team to design a new central library in Ennis

Serving 30,360 residents, the new three-storey building is set to include a local studies area and gallery and bring together a number of services formerly housed on three separate sites.

The 2,321m² scheme will have a contract value of £660,500.

Applications must cover architectural, quantity surveying and engineering services. Individual lots are not available.

As lead designers, the archtiects will be responsible for completing a suitability assessment questionnaire with completed responses due 1 April via the tender page.
