Design team sought for £2.8m Mid Ulster villages regeneration

Mid Ulster District Council is looking for a multidisciplinary team to deliver £2.86 million of public realm improvements in at least 43 small towns and villages

The project is part of a £10 million programme of investment in rural areas of Northern Ireland.

Planned upgrades include new art works, street furniture, play areas, lighting, signage, drainage and street resurfacing. The programme is scheduled to complete in 2019.

The winning team must feature a project manager, principal designer, landscape architect, civil engineer, structural engineer, mechanical engineer, electrical engineer and quantity surveyor.

Up to five teams will be shortlisted for the estimated £220,000 contract. The deadline for applications is 4pm on 25 November.
