The Russian National Agency for Architecture and Urban Planning and the Union of Moscow Architects have launched an open contest for a new 45,000m² hotel complex
The project for Radisson Blu is planned for a brownfield site in northwest Moscow at the confluence of the Skhodnya and the Moskva rivers.
The single-stage contest is open to architects and engineers with non-Russian companies required to team up with local firms to compete.
Judges include Moscow’s chief architect and representatives from the Union of Moscow Architects.
The winner – set to be announced on 22 July – will receive around £7,600 and the design commission.
The deadline for registration is 10 July.
