Social housing umbrella group Re:allies has announced a construction consultancy services framework worth £22.7 million in fees

The agreement will run for four years and is divided into 15 lots, including architectural services worth £3.5 million in fees, principle designer services worth £622,000 in fees and multidisciplinary design services worth £7.8 million in fees.

Teams chosen for the framework will have the opportunity to work on a range of social housing projects and other public buildings including schools and offices. Other lots within the framework include clerk of works, employers agent services, retrofit co-ordination services, asset management services, energy assessment services and stock condition surveying.

According to the brief: ‘Services appointed under the Re:allies Consultancy Framework Agreement will be required to support the delivery of works contracted using a variety of building contracts over the term of the framework agreement.

‘BIM is increasingly on the agenda within the social sector and recognised way in which to promote efficiency across works delivered. The government mandate of BIM Level 2 implementation should be recognised by practices bidding for works under the framework as the standard method of working. 3D visualisation where required will be deemed an additional service and charged separately.’

Re:allies is a social housing regeneration consortium representing a large number of small, regional and large-scale public bodies across the UK. The organisation operates a number of frameworks intended to boost flexibility and reduce costs for its clients.

Key members of the consortium include Procure Plus, Efficiency North and Central Housing Investment Consortium. The latest framework will deliver a range of housing projects along with other public buildings including schools and offices.

Additional lots required include site investigation, asbestos surveys, mechanical and electrical services, quantity surveying, structural engineering services, and energy efficiency and renewable services.

The deadline for applications is 5pm, 1 June.
