Competition launched to connect Glasgow's Seven Lochs Wetland Park

The Glasgow Institute of Architects has launched an international contest for proposals to link two sites inside the Seven Lochs Wetland Park close to Glasgow

The competition is looking for multi-discipline teams to connect public routes through the 20,000m² park which includes bridging the M73 corridor cutting through the site.

Each entry will be charged at £25 with a £1,750 prize fund to be split between the winners, with the leaders invited to develop a feasibility study to present to project partners.

Submissions are due 14 October with a public exhibition to follow on the 26 October. The winners will be announced on 14 November.

Registration can be completed before 7 October through the Institutes page.
