Devon and Cornwall Housing Group (DCH) has launched a £30 million framework for the delivery of new homes across south-west England

The two-year framework is divided into seven lots covering both site masterplanning and the delivery of standard and bespoke house types in Cornwall, Devon, Somerset and Bristol.

Up to four teams will be selected for each lot. These are collectively expected to deliver around 16 projects a year with a total estimated annual fee spend of £350,000.

According to the brief: ‘Members will access the framework in one of three ways: direct award to the first placed company in a lot, engage in a further competition (mini-competition), and award in accordance with the selection procedure.

‘Successful companies will be awarded a place on a two-year framework from April 2018 from which members will award contracts. This framework can be extended for a further two years at the sole discretion of DCH.’

DCH was founded in the 1970s, and today maintains and manages more than 23,500 homes and employs more than 800 people across the region.

DCH is one of the largest housing organisations in the South West and is planning to deliver a ‘significant’ development pipeline of rent, shared ownership and market sale homes over the next five years.

The deadline for applications is 2.10pm on 26 January.
