The competition is open to design professionals and students with a total prize fund of ¥3,500,000 available.

Entrants are advised to consider the ‘thoughts and actions’ which might shape the world in 40 years time when determining what role glass should play in construction.

All drawings, illustrative matters, and texts must be submitted on one sheet of (600mm×840mm) with notations and titles in English.

Seven design teams will be shortlisted with each receiving ¥2,000,000. The winner will be determined via a two stage screening process with all shortlisted teams interviewed by the contest judges.
