[Submissions to be received before 31 July] The World Monuments Fund is receiving nominations for the 2012 World Monuments Fund/Knoll Modernism Prize
Practices may submit projects where design solutions helped preserve of save a modern landmark at risk.
Nominations should ‘enhanced a site’s architectural, functional, economic, and environmental sustainability’ with the works carried out after 2007.
A 500-word description of the project is required alongside three images of the site before the works and a further three images showing the scheme after completion.
A $10,000 prize is up for grabs with the winner to present their project in New York’s Museum of Modern Art.
